UPCOMING EVENTS

'How to' Workshops

Delve into the topic of data and evaluation with our free ‘How to’ practical workshops with James Akers and Jack Roscoe from Digital Culture Network.

In the online workshops there’ll be an introduction to the topic, an opportunity to ask questions and then you’ll workshop the themes with your peers with guidance from the guest speaker. The workshops will examine a variety of different types of data, not just data that is collected online.

Our upcoming ‘How to’ sessions will take place on:

These sessions are aimed at anyone who is new to data and evaluation or who would like to develop their skills further. Find out more about our 'How to' workshops.

Connect and Reflect

Join our next event, ‘Connect and Reflect: Community-led Evaluation’, on Wednesday 6 December.

Taking place on the first Wednesday of each month, our informal Connect and Reflect series provides you with a great opportunity to digitally connect and chat with place-based colleagues from across England. The sessions will take the form of small group discussions with suggested questions provided.

In December’s session, discuss and reflect with others in the programme about how they have worked with communities to conduct data and evaluation.

The following Connect and Reflect session will take place on Wednesday 7 February 2024 and will focus on experimentation and developing new projects.

Innovative place-based networking

Earlier this year, Sunderland Culture brought people together from across a wide range of sectors for an innovative new networking event. The Sunderland Creative Forum, the first of its kind in the city, provided a space for people to network and connect, learn from peers, and to hear updates. It was a resounding success, with thought provoking discussions and inspirational updates. It will now become a regular occurrence, supporting the local creative and cultural sector and its development.
