Connect and Reflect 
 
Join our ‘Connect and Reflect: Creative Care’ session on Wednesday 26 November
 
Each 'Connect and Reflect’ focuses on a particular theme, we provide suggested questions to start the discussion and then it’s over to you to talk about the topic with your peers.  
 
The sessions provide the perfect time to digitally connect with your Creative Ageing peers, consider a range of themes and come away with new approaches to your work. 
 
Our upcoming ‘Connect and Reflect’ sessions are: 
  • Wednesday 26 November: Connect and Reflect: Creative Care 
  • Wednesday 28 January: Connect and Reflect: Assisted Living 
 
Beyond the Bingo: How to support sustainable and co-created cultural and creative opportunities within Assisted Living Schemes 
 
Join our session to explore how to ensure your clients and tenants are involved in co-creating cultural and creative opportunities in assisted living schemes. 
 
The session will provide the ideal opportunity to listen to best practice case studies, as well as networking with peers working in the field.   
 
Speakers will include Kate Curry, Housing Manager at South Tyneside Council, and Dr Georgia Bowers, Lead Researcher on The Life House project, a project in partnership with London Bubble Theatre Company. 
 
The session will take place on Wednesday 17 December

NAPA Annual Activity Conference 
 
NAPA’s Annual Activity Conference is taking place on Friday 23 January.  
 
The conference will focus on activity, engagement and wellbeing in care, as well as exploring Culture in Activity Provision – what it means, why it matters and how it can transform the lives of people living and working in care settings. 
 
 
Let’s Create Peer Learning 
 
We are delighted to launch Let’s Create Peer Learning. 
 
Let’s Create Peer Learning is our new combined online platform for both Creative Ageing and Place-Based Peer Learning. 
 
The platform will continue to provide the opportunity to connect with others working in place, share resources and join our upcoming events.  
 
 
 
You can also download an updated app for the platform on Android and Apple.
 
Just head to your App Store and search for ‘Let's Create Peer Learning’ and download.

Take a look at our inaugural session of the Creative Ageing Peer Learning Programme. 
 
The session explored how to engage older people living in care in meaningful creative opportunities, with updates from NAPA, Belong Villages, Magic Me and Upswing.
