Published on January 25, 2024

We’re delighted that you have joined our digital community networking platform for the Place-Based Peer Learning Network!

We would like every user to benefit as much as possible from the Hivebrite as the platform is for and shaped by the network. Scroll down for some helpful tips to help you make the most of Hivebrite...

Update Your Profile

Take the time to update your profile so that your peers can find out more about you and your work.

We recommend you update your:

  • Contact details: add in the contact details you’re happy to share with the peer learning network.
  • Location: add in your local authority or nearest town or city, not your home address.
  • Summary: share your bio so others can see who you are and what you do.
  • Organisation: add in the organisation that you work for. If your organisation doesn’t appear in the ‘Organisation’ tab, then please add it in.

Network with Your Peers

Would you like to get in contact with someone from an organisation, event or area of work? You can search for other users under ‘People’.

Simply search by name, location or use the map function. Once you have found a user, you can view their profile and send them a direct message in Hivebrite.

News Feed

We'd love for you to share any upcoming events, updates and opportunities on our news feed. You can also post if you have any questions or ideas that you’d like to share with the group and other users can respond sharing their knowledge and experience.

Events

Explore and register for upcoming peer learning network events. All our events are free and open to those working in a place-based way.

Resources

Place-Based Peer Learning resources following any events will be shared under this tab. Looking for something in particular? Use the search function to find the resource you are looking for.

Place-Based Peer Learning Updates

Make sure to check out this tab for updates from the Place-Based Peer Learning Team, this may include news articles, blog posts and relevant links to the network.

Groups

Join any groups that are relevant to you.

In each group, there will be the chance to network with other members and share group-specific news and events.

If you’d like to create a new group, please email [email protected] with details of the group you would like to be created and which user will be the admin of the group. One of our team will then review the suggestion and create the group if approved.

Share with Your Peers

We'd love for as many of you working in place to benefit, so please do share this email with any colleagues that you think may be interested.
